DigiShakti Mapper is an online tool to map the location and distribution of tablets and smartphones in the classrooms of the students of the various educational institutions in the state. The mapping is done with the help of a QR code that is generated by the app itself. The code is a unique identifier of the device and can be used to map the details of the device. The details include the IMEI number, the model, the OS, and the device's serial number. The App is developed, monitored, and maintained by UPDECO, an Undertaking of the State Government of Uttar Pradesh, India.
To use the DigiShakti Mapper, the users need to be authorized by UPDECO. Once the users are logged in, they will have to scan a QR code that is generated by the app. This will map the details of the device and the student.
